The Story
It is a cold night in 1831, there is something chilling in the atmosphere and visibility is weak due to the fog lying heavy on the ground of the courtyard. A gentleman from the house is eagerly waiting for his guests to arrive. He is looking forward to his audience and preparing himself for their arrival. Unbeknown to him, the news of guests visiting the hall has unleashed other lost and lonely souls from the past who lurk in the shadows waiting to reveal their stories.
A young footman appears in the courtyard just as the guests arrive. He has returned looking for his lost love, Mary, the exquisite young kitchen maid. Patrick is a conscientious young man of Lancastrian descent and as he wanders through the dark corridors of the Hall, he reveals the circumstances of his existence.
The gentleman, who does not reveal his true identity, does not see Patrick. Instead he remains invisible, as in life. Both worlds can never collide. The gentleman is gallant and playful in nature. He becomes mesmerised when the figure of a beautiful lady appears by the staircase. Who is this lady?
Will Patrick find his beloved Mary and who is the mysterious gent? All will be revealed on our lamplight tour…
